Until 2007, the society maintained an active Benevolent Fund – however, the funds were transferred to Hospitality Action, whose values and management met similar criteria.
Since then, the Reunion membership has continued donating to worthy causes, including Hospitality Action and Westminster and Kingsway College students.
In 2024 and 2025 the Reunion has adopted the PM Trust as our key charity. The Trust’s main purpose is to make hospitality the career of choice for young people and to encourage and assist them to further their training and development within this fantastic industry.
Their goal is to highlight that a career in hospitality is a meritocracy and that with focus and hard work, a very rewarding career is possible for anyone. Their aim is to remove some of the barriers for young people between the ages of 16yrs to 24yrs old who are embarking on a career in hospitality
