Ian Pask FIH, General Manager of the London Marriott, Grosvenor Square has had an interesting career in the Hospitality Industry spanning nearly 40 years. With international experience spanning the Middle East, African and United Kingdom, holding posts in several Marriott Hotels in the UK

Before moving into General Management of hotels his roles were predominately within food and beverage departments in 4 and 5 star hotels. Several of the hotels had restaurants with one and two AA Rosettes.

Over the years several challenges have presented themselves in the conception, design, and subsequently the commissioning of new restaurants.

He has a passion for food and beverage and regularly visits restaurants to improve his knowledge of food and strives to keep up to date with trends in this diverse marketplace.

Ian has also been involved in conducting Master Classes at the Edge Hotel School, Westminster College, and other schools. He is keen to drive awareness of the Hospitality Industry and to raise its profile as a great employer and the many career opportunities that there are.
