The UK Restaurant Manager of the Year competition is important in terms of promoting front of house as a genuine and exciting career, and rewarding those professionals who are the best in the industry.
Anyone who fulfils the role of a Restaurant Manager is welcome to enter, having responsibility for business performance; managing people; staff training and co-ordinating the operation of the restaurant.

This competition is organised by the Academy of Food & Wine and the Institute of Hospitality. The competition is for restaurant managers from any branch of Hospitality and previous winners have come from Café Rouge, The Arts Club, Tottenham Football club and Pollen Street Social.
