The hospitality sector is by nature a humble one, probably stemming from centuries ago when discretion was deemed a key skill for anyone working within it. The Reunion des Gastronomes was officially formed in 1899 and 118 years later the immense talent, skills and experience that lies within the membership, is quite honestly staggering.

Every member has contributed significantly to the hospitality sector and forms part of our organisations history. Attend any event, mingle with a room full of members and you wouldn’t even know, because they are humble and just don’t shout about their achievements. Instead they look to encourage and nurture with genuine interest in what you have to say.

The danger of course is that all this talent remains hidden and which is why we will be sharing through regular short video interviews, the amazing individuals and wealth of experience that makes the Reunion des Gastronomes so unique.
